The first time I showed a dog was in 1966, a match. I won BOB with a $50 pet shop Basenji (we were the only entry). Luckily, the only way to go was up. I have had several breeds, but when I got my first Italian Greyhound in 1974 I knew I was hooked on toy dogs. My first Chinese Crested came in 1998, Kibbie, a wonderful boy from Pat Abel and Stan Voje, thank you Pat and Stan, and thanks to them I am addicted. I want to thank Frank and Chris of Bayshore Kennels for entrusting me with their finest Chinese Cresteds. All my dogs are house pets and most of them share my bed. We all now live in Texas. --Marian Blackman |
